Virginia Schutte, a former undergraduate student in my lab, is doing her PhD with the wonderful Jeb Byers at UG. She is working on mangrove root epibionts (inverts that live underwater on mangrove roots), which I happen to love! In fact, I wanted to do a post doc on them many moons ago.
