   First, thanks for the website. Beautiful photos and simple design, I love it. Next, a question – I noticed you tagged the shark attack video for your “young male readers” – I’m curious why you did that? Don’t you believe girls too would find that interesting? I did and I’m a girl (and not a young one either). If one of the goals of your website is to encourage understanding/engagement/concern in marine science issues, why throw exclusionary comments on there? I’m sure you are well aware that there are plenty of forces that turn girls off of science early. Don’t unintentionally become one of them!
