Welcome to Book Hook

Get hooked on a book at the Seamonster’s brand new online celebration of the oceans in words.

Here at Seamontser we’ve built a new shelf (a continental shelf perhaps?) and in upcoming posts we’ll be filling it up with some of our favourite oceans books, old and new.

Seamonster’s Book Hook is the place to come to read exclusive Seamonster interviews with top ocean authors – first up will be Juliet Eilperin, author of the wonderful book about sharks, Demon Fish.

We’ll also be revisiting classics, ranging from The Silent World to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

So, come join us at our underwater literary festival to explore the oceans as we dip into the very best novels, kids’ books, poetry, popular non-fiction, and even the occasional serious science book.

Be a part of the discussion and share your ideas, thoughts, and favorites with other sea readers.

And this being a festive time of year, stop by to get some gift inspiration for your ocean-loving, book-loving friends and relatives.
